Everyone who travels to Northern Cyprus is required to obtain E-Travel Document that will allow them to board a flight to the TRNC.
In order to enter the TRNC, you shall download the application Stay Safe or visit the official website www.guvendekalkktc.com, and complete the Entry Form within 72 hours to your arrival in Northern Cyprus. You will be required to provide your personal information and upload vaccination certificate and or the results of your PCR test.
Everybody except the children under the age of 6, is required to obtain E-Travel Document.
If you do not obtain E-Travel Document through the Stay Safe application or the www.guvendekalkktc.com website, you will not be able to enter the TRNC.
The country classification remains the same.
Green – quarantine-free entry for both vaccinated and unvaccinated passengers.
Orange – 5 days quarantine or quarantine-free entry providing vaccination certificate.
Red– 7 days quarantine for those who are unvaccinated and for those who are vaccinated the TRNC Ministry of Health recommend self-isolation for 3 days.
Dark Red – regardless the vaccination, everyone must undertake 14 days quarantine upon the entry to Northern Cyprus
Country colour updates weekly – to be confirmed each week (updated as of 29 December 2021).
The authorities will take into account the colour of the country of initial departure, where the passenger had been staying for at least 10 days, and not the country being transited.
Everyone must take PCR test within 72 hours before departure.
Those who are required to stay in quarantine shall also register with the application “Stay Safe” before travel. It is permitted to stay in quarantine at own/friend’s/relative’s* residence or rent a house.
PERSON IS NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE PLACE WHERE HE/SHE STAY IN QUARANTINE.

People who have had Covid-19 disease must submit positive PCR test result taken 30-180 days before travel so that they will be considered as being vaccinated.
Those who had Covid-19 disease and 180 days have passed since positive PCR test results, should receive 1 dose of RAPEL vaccine in order to be considered as a vaccinated person.
Children under the age of 18 can enter the country by showing the negative PCR test result (applicable to children over the age of 6). The rules for children will apply the same as for their parents. Therefore, if the parents are vaccinated, the children shall be considered as vaccinated as well.
